About the opportunity –
Do you have a passion for creating vibrant, connected communities? Join our Community Development team as a Part-Time Community Development Officer and help deliver impactful initiatives and programs that make a real difference across our region.
You will make an impact by
- Support the planning, development, and implementation of community initiatives and programs.
- Work collaboratively with team members, local organisations, and community groups.
- Assist with administration tasks, reporting, and maintaining accurate records.
- Engage with community members and stakeholders to ensure programs meet local needs.
- Contribute to communications, promotions, and events that strengthen community participation.
What you will bring
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills – you enjoy working with others to deliver great outcomes.
- Strong attention to detail and proven administration skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Motivated by making a genuine difference in your local community.
- Previous experience in community development, social services, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
