About the Opportunity
This is an exciting chance to support Council’s community partnerships, programs, and facilities by delivering high quality customer service across busy facility operations in the Halls and Hubs team. Working closely with the Community Development team, you’ll help ensure the smooth coordination of both Council managed and partner managed community assets.
You’ll join an established, high performing team that is welcoming, hardworking, and solutions focused. This fast-paced role offers a mix of administrative, customer service, and stakeholder engagement responsibilities, including the use of Optimogov to manage bookings.

You will make an impact by
- Managing bookings, enquiries, and day‑to‑day operations across multiple community facilities.
- Responding to high‑volume phone and email enquiries with timely, accurate, and solutions‑focused customer service.
- Administering financial processes including invoicing, fees, charges, and bond payments.
- Supporting the promotion of Council programs, community events, and partner activities through website updates and communications.
- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure maintenance, repairs, waste services, and cleaning are efficiently arranged for community facilities.
What You Will Bring
- Strong administrative capability and proven customer service experience in a busy, community‑focused environment.
- Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to manage facility booking systems and associated administrative processes.
- Excellent time management skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
- Confidence working both autonomously and as part of a collaborative, friendly team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with TechOne, Optimogov or SALTO systems is an advantage.
- A proactive, solutions‑oriented approach and the ability to maintain accurate, high‑quality information for the community.
- Able to thrive in a fastpaced, highvolume environment with competing priorities.
