As a Parking and Compliance Services Officer at Cardinia Shire, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring public safety, accessibility, and fairness across our growing municipality. This is a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for someone who thrives on variety, community engagement, and meaningful impact.
You will make an impact by
- Conducting proactive and reactive parking patrols across the municipality.
- Educating residents, businesses, and builders on Council’s Local Laws and relevant legislation.
- Investigating and enforcing breaches under various Acts and regulations.
- Responding to community concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Supporting public safety through visible and consistent enforcement.
What you will bring
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation including the Road Safety Road Rules 2017 and Domestic Animals Act 1994.
- Experience in issuing infringements and preparing evidence for court proceedings.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills across field, counter, and phone interactions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- High attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
- Willingness to participate in after-hours rosters and events.
