About the opportunity As a School Crossing Supervisor, you will be a crucial guardian of safety for our children, parents, and teachers, acting as an essential second pair of eyes for local motorists. We have 80 crossings located Shire-wide, including in Officer, Pakenham, Beaconsfield, Nar Nar Goon, Tynong, Garfield, Bunyip, Koo Wee Rup, Lang Lang, Emerald, Gembrook, and Cockatoo. This position is particularly beneficial for those residing locally in these areas. All uniforms, equipment, and training will be provided. You will make an impact by Overseeing the safe passage of school children and other pedestrians. Operating the crossing in accordance with official guidelines. Being punctual and reliable in your duties. Always maintaining vigilance and alertness. Establishing a positive rapport with the public and children About you You have the discipline to show up for our communities in all weather conditions. You possess good (English) communication skills, community spirit, and positive energy. You can follow road safety procedures, legislation, laws, guidelines, and OH&S processes. You are physically fit. You have your own transport and a Victorian Driver’s Licence. You are flexible with availability for early starts. You can work independently with minimal supervision.
