About the opportunity

This role offers the chance to work on large-scale subdivision projects, supporting developments from planning through to completion. You will make an impact by
- Processing subdivision certifications and issuing statements of compliance.
- Managing planning permit applications, amendments, and extensions.
- Allocating street names and numbers for new developments.
- Responding to enquiries and providing accurate advice on planning and subdivision matters.
- Supporting departmental performance improvements and contributing to strategic outcomes.
What you will bring
- Tertiary qualifications in planning, development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Knowledge of statutory planning processes, subdivision regulations, and relevant legislation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with developers, stakeholders, and the community.
- Ability to manage competing priorities across two portfolios and deliver accurate administrative tasks.
- Sound judgement and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in systems such as SPEAR and confidence in handling data and records.
- A current Victorian Driver’s Licence.
