You Will Make an Impact By
- Developing and delivering community waste minimisation and resource recovery education programs.
- Leading projects that support Council’s Waste and Resource Recovery Strategy and Victorian Government recycling initiatives.
- Creating engaging communication materials across print, social media, and web platforms.
- Building strong relationships with community groups, stakeholders, and government agencies to maximise engagement.
- Monitoring and supporting waste service contracts to ensure high-quality service delivery.
What You Will Bring
- Demonstrated experience in waste engagement and community education programs.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver programs within budget and timelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of waste collection, recycling, and minimisation practices, including relevant legislation.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to a small, collaborative team.
- Initiative and creativity to develop new ideas and find innovative solutions.
- Experience liaising with contractors and managing service performance.
