Full time, monthly ADO64k + superHybrid work modelProgressive council, strong well-being focusAbout the role:We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer to join the busy (and high performing) Finance team.The Accounts Payable Officer will be responsible for providing an accurate and timely payment of Council's creditors, effective customer service and accounts payable services to the organisation and continual improvement of accounts payable processes.Reporting to the Coordinator Procurement & Accounts Payable, some of your duties will include.Perform the end-to-end accounts payable function within established timeframesPrepare and communicate accounts payable payment run cut-offs and timeframes to the organisation and process EFT payments and remittancesReconcile supplier statements monthlyPrepare the monthly Creditor Reconciliation and assist with Finance Reconciliations as requiredAbout youYou will have excellent knowledge of accounts payable principles and process and experience in accounts payable in a large organisation, with a high-level  proficiency in accounts payable information systems, such as Technology One, and sound Microsoft Office skills.You will be an agile team player, who is accustomed to dealing with competing priorities. As the Accounts Payable Officer, you will have high attention to detail with a drive to succeed. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
