Full time opportunityBand 4, salary from $63,100 plus superHybrid work modelAbout the roleAs an Administration Officer – Regulatory Services, you will provide administrative support to ensure the effective and efficient operation of Council’s Compliance Services department.Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Input data into and maintain information systems in relation to the receipt and processing of relevant permits and written enquiriesUndertake the word processing of letters, permits, notices, certificates, submissions and other documents in relation to Compliance Services matters.Undertake the photocopying of documents or organise the reproduction of documents.Provide assistance and support to management and staff including organising meetings, sending facsimiles, compiling statistics or other duties as appropriate.Ensure that an adequate supply of public documents, forms and information is maintained and available.Undertake the retrieval and return of files from the records management section for the Compliance Services Department.Ensure that reports and correspondence allocated are prepared within required quality standards and timeframes.You will contribute to making Cardinia Shire as risk free as possible for all employees, residents and visitors.About youTo be successful in this role, you will have the ability to clearly communicate information in both written and verbal form and gain go-operation and assistance from others.You will be able to demonstrate:Experience in the use of computers including skills in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite of Products.Completion of a Certificate in Business (Office Administration) or equivalent experience.Demonstrated understanding of the planning, building and/ or compliance matters would be desirable.Well-developed interpersonal skills.Ability to effectively plan, organise and manage your own time and workload including achieving specific outcomes within set timeframes.Ability to research information including property details. About us Cardinia Shire Council is a dynamic and progressive organisation.
