Hybrid work model, Officer locationBand 5, 75k + super (12 months full-time- maximum term)Administer Councils insurance claims and liaise with Councils insurersGreat opportunity to gain experience in local governmentAbout the roleJoin a highly supportive and busy Risk Health and Safety team as a Claims Support Officer administering Councils insurance claims and liaise with Councils insurers.Reporting to the Coordinator, Risk, Health and Safety, some of your duties will include:Maintain the integrity of the Work Cover system and maintain confidentially regarding queries.Process WorkCover claim forms within legislated timelines.Provide general advice to Managers and staff on WorkCover issues.Assist with the coordination, development, implementation, and review of Councils rehabilitation/return to work and early intervention programsAssist with the investigation associated with WorkCover claimsComplete relevant claims forms within required timelinesAssist with the investigation of claims to ensure relevant details are provided to all relevant stakeholdersAbout youThis role would suit an experienced claim, WorkCover and Return to Work officer who is looking to expand and diversify their skills within the local government sector. You will have a hands-on approach and strong stakeholder engagements abilities.
