This position entails enhancing organisational and community capacity to promote connection and participation among culturally diverse communities in the area.  About you You are an advocate for inclusivity, with a proven track record of engaging and empowering culturally diverse communities. Your ability to lead, collaborate, and implement meaningful initiatives is unparalleled, and you thrive on building strong partnerships with various stakeholders. You are a creative thinker who can breathe life into cultural celebrations and events, making them unforgettable moments of unity. With your keen insight, you can identify emerging community needs and trends, ensuring that our efforts remain relevant and impactful. To be considered for this role you will also require. Tertiary qualification in Social Sciences, Community Development or another relevant discipline is desirable. A comprehensive understanding of local government’s role in the community and the process by which services are provided. Community, policy and strategy development skills and/or experience. Demonstrated experience in consulting and working with community stakeholders to facilitate change and improve access to resources, skills and knowledge. This role is not just a job, it is an opportunity to make a profound impact on our community's future.
