Full-time, commence February 2022- October 2022 (maternity leave cover)Band 4, $63,400 + 10% super, with monthly RDOHybrid work model (flexible work arrangements)Supportive and encouraging team environmentAbout the role:We’re seeking an enthusiastic Fleet and Workshop Administration Officer to provide high level administrative assistance to ensure the effective and efficient management of the Operations Departments, with specialist support provided to the Fleet and Workshop portfolio.Reporting to the Fleet and Workshop Manager, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to the below:Administer council’s fleet management and fuel dispensing software, including the maintenance of fault registers, maintenance job sheets, fleet inventory, fuel accounts etc.Undertake the word processing of letters, notices, reports, tenders, certificates, submissions and other documents in relation to Operational matters or projectsIdentify and implement business improvement initiatives and procedures across the departmentProvide assistance and administrative support to Operational staff including managing correspondence and service requests, organising meetings, sending facsimiles, compiling statistics and other duties as appropriate.About youThe successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and organised individual who enjoys customer service and administration and process improvement. This role would suit someone who has experience in providing a wide range of administrative services, preferably in a complex service delivery environment. To be successful in this role, you will have the following:Experience in the use of computer programs including skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint at an advanced level.Ability to effectively plan, organise and manage your own time and workload including achieving specific outcomes within set timeframes against conflicting priorities.Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate (written and verbal) with various stakeholders.Able to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to business improvement activities.About usCardinia Shire Council is a dynamic and progressive organisation.
