Join our Information Services business unit as a GIS Support officer. You will play an integral role in assisting the GIS Supervisor to provide Geographical Information System (GIS) support and mapping services to all staff at Cardinia Shire Council. Reporting to the GIS Supervisor, some of your key responsibilities will include.Assist in management and enhancement in use of the GIS and related systems. Assist in provision of the more complex mapping requests. Any other duties within the limits of the employee’s skill, competence, and training, provided that such duties do not promote a narrowing of the employees’ skill base. About You You will be able to demonstrate a high level of analytical problem-solving skills to extract, manipulate and analyse data sets.
