You will be the first point of contact for all health and safety related issues and provide proactive guidance, advice and support to staff on all health and safety matters.About you As a passionate Health and Safety professional, you will have a 'can-do' approach and the ability to manage competing work priorities within legislative requirements and strict timeframes. You will be passionate about keeping up to date with legislative changes and requirements while driving a safety first culture.What we are looking for: Ideally you will have a background in OH&S with experience in investigating safety incidents, issues, trends, risks and analysing data.  You will have the ability to communicate and influence a wide range of stakeholders while also building trusting relationships.To ensure your success in this diverse role, you will have a solid understanding of health & safety legislation, compliance obligations and ability to develop and implement policies, procedures and systems.About us Cardinia Shire Council is a dynamic and progressive organisation.
