Great organisational culture and benefits, hybrid work model (Officer location)Starting 85k + super, full timeFantastic opportunity to make a difference to the liveability, health and wellbeing of local communities.About the roleAs a Healthy Communities Facilitator, you will work within the Future Communities Unit, supporting other teams across Council and our partners to make meaningful change within the communities of Cardinia Shire.You will be responsible for working with our partners to plan, monitor and evaluate health and wellbeing initiatives identified within Cardinia Shire’s Liveability Plan 2017-29 (our municipal public health and wellbeing plan).You will be joining a passionate and progressive team dedicated to making a difference in our community and leading health and wellbeing planning within the local government sector. About youThe successful applicant will have a passion for working in partnership and using systems approaches in identifying creative solutions to complex problems. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to facilitate partnerships with varied stakeholder groups.You will also require:Tertiary qualifications in Public Health / Health Promotion, Health or Social Sciences, Community Development, Social Policy, or a related fieldDemonstrated relevant experience in health planning, health promotion, social research and policy or program development.Demonstrated ability to engage and develop professional networks and relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners to facilitate effective co-operation and collaboration.Proven skills in applying evidence to support development, implementation and review of policy and strategy development.Excellent project management and time management skills.About usCardinia Shire Council is a dynamic and progressive organisation.
