Your expertise will provide invaluable economic advice and support to the Council, senior management, and our valued customers. By fostering local businesses and attracting new ventures to our municipality, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the Shire's economic landscape including our State Significant Industrial Land and employment precincts.. But that's not all! You'll also champion the growth of our tourism industry, working closely with an independent tourism association to ensure its success. With your support, we will promote the Shire as a must-visit destination, leveraging advocacy processes and sustainable strategies to attract visitors from near and far. Furthermore, your dedication to supporting a strong agricultural sector will contribute to the sustainability and prosperity of our townships. By facilitating private investment and employment opportunities, you will serve as a vital conduit between Council and external agencies, driving growth and prosperity throughout Cardinia Shire.  As part of your responsibilities, you will be tasked with spearheading the success of the Cardinia Cultural Centre, a renowned entertainment hub in the region. In this role, you will provide strategic direction to ensure its continued growth and prominence, and to drive its success and elevate its position as a cultural landmark in the community.About you   You will have a proven track record in advocacy and partnership programs, enabling you to strategically foster employment and investment growth.
