Hybrid work model, Officer location, Full time$150,000 + super and car allowanceRare executive opportunity in local governmentAbout the roleThe Finance Manager position is responsible for leading the Finance team and managing the Council's finances while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements are met. The role involves managing the annual budget and financial planning process, overseeing financial reporting and audit processes, identifying financial management threats and opportunities, and driving a culture of continuous improvement. Additionally, the Finance Manager should be able to provide expert advice and develop a culture of customer experience, innovation, and financial discipline across business units.About youThe successful candidate will be an experienced Finance Manager who can provide operational financial leadership, oversee the financial services team, and ensure the smooth running of the organisation's finances.
