Your responsibilities will include overseeing the development of sports fields, sports field lighting, netball and tennis courts, playgrounds, skate parks, horse trails, BMX tracks, and infrastructure improvements, among others. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and various internal teams, including the Recreation Team and Active and Connected Communities Team, to deliver high-quality outdoor recreation facilities, open spaces, and playgrounds that meet community needs and expectations. Lead the delivery of designated capital works programs, from initial investigation and planning stages to project management and completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. About you We are looking for a candidate who brings a wealth of experience and expertise in project management, particularly in open space and recreation projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, coupled with a strong ability to make sound decisions, and manage projects within budget and time constraints.
