Working together, doing things differently and preparing for the future are the three cornerstones of our culture, helping Council to deliver on strategy.  About the role  As a Rates Officer, your primary responsibility is the maintenance of the Council's property ownership records, Land Information Certificates, and Pensioner Rates Concession applications. You will provide crucial support and assistance to both customers and the Revenue team. Your key responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries through various channels, managing property ownership records and ratepayer details, processing levy changes for Waste Management, preparing Land Information Certificates, handling pensioner rates concessions, discussing and processing Payment Plans, overseeing general revenue administration tasks, and providing valuable customer assistance and problem-solving. About you  You will be detail-oriented, organised, and customer-focused. You should possess strong communication skills to effectively respond to inquiries and provide assistance. A proactive and adaptable approach to managing property records and processing various revenue-related tasks is essential. Prior experience in customer service and administrative roles, especially in the context of property or revenue management, is a plus.
