This position will play an integral role regarding the maintenance of Council’s property ownership records, Land Information Certificates and Pensioner Rates Concession applications. Reporting to the Coordinator Financial Accounting & Revenue, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to the below:Respond to customer inquiries received via phone, electronically and in person.Maintain all changes of property ownership records and changes of address in council’s property system.Issue Land Information CertificatesReceive, check and process pensioner rates concessionsMonitor council’s customer request system (CRM) and ensure all requests are actioned.Process refunds in council’s finance system (Tech One)Process daily receipting for rate payments as required (eg Centrelink)About youYou are an enthusiastic and organised individual who enjoys customer service and who has a high attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in work. You will be someone who is accustomed to processing large volumes of incoming correspondence and a repetitious workload.  To be successful in this role, you will have the following:Previous experience in a rating environment or other related field.Some previous experience in Sharepoint, Techone Financials, Open Office, CRM and Property.gov rating systems would be advantageous.Ability to effectively plan, organise and manage your own time and workload including achieving specific outcomes within set timeframes against conflicting priorities.About usCardinia Shire Council is a dynamic and progressive organisation.
