Full time, or part time negotiable. About the role A rare opportunity to join our organisation as a Revenue Officer. As the Revenue Officer, you will be responsible for the maintenance of Council’s property ownership records, Land Information Certificates, concession applications and liaising with customers on their Council rates and charges. Reporting to the Team Leader Rates, some of your duties will include: Providing outstanding customer service to our ratepayers Discuss and process Payment Plans received by ratepayers Maintaining property records Issuing Land Information Certificates Receive, check and process pensioner rates concessionsProcess daily receipting for rate payments as requiredProcess refunds in council’s finance system, and Provide support to the wider Financial Accounting and Revenue team. About you You are an enthusiastic and organised individual who enjoys customer service and who has a high attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in work. You will be someone who is accustomed to processing large volumes of incoming correspondence and a repetitious workload.  To be successful in this role, you will have the following: Previous experience in a rating environment or other related field with a strong focus on Customer Service.. Previous experience in digital record keeping and work flows, financial systems and a property rating systems would be advantageous. Ability to effectively plan, organise and manage your own time and workload including achieving specific outcomes within set timeframes against conflicting priorities. Experience in the use of Microsoft Applications; including TEAMS, Word, Excel and Outlook.  About us  Cardinia Shire Council is a dynamic and progressive organisation.
