Working together, doing things differently and preparing for the future are the three cornerstones of our culture, helping Council to deliver on our community’s vision.   About the role  Join the Health and Social Planning Team as Social Research Officer and provide support to staff across the organisation in their policy and strategy development, evaluation, advocacy, funding applications and community engagement. This position will work in a job-share arrangement with the opportunity to be mentored by a qualified professional researcher (QPR accreditation) with over 25 years’ experience in social research.  The spread of hours is flexible – requests to work shorter days across Mon - Fri or three full days can be considered.  To be successful in this role you will be an experienced professional who has proven research, evaluation and data analytical skills. You will be outcome driven, and able to manage competing work priorities within strict time frames.
