Band 6 ($87 - $102k+ super+ monthly ADO!)Full time, maximum term contract (parental leave cover up until Feb 2024) Hybrid work model, work from home and our Officer location Exciting opportunity to contribute to local community About the role Use your experience and qualifications in communications, media, public relations or a related field to work within our Strategic Communications Team. You will project manage and deliver communications plans and their activities from start to finish and provide communications advice across the organisation. About you You’re a communications professional with a 'can-do' approach. You will be outcome driven, and able to manage competing work priorities within strict timeframes. You are experienced in providing high-level communications advice to all levels of an organisation, creating strong links with internal and external stakeholders, and delivering end-to-end communications strategies. What we are looking for: Tertiary qualifications in communications (or related field) and relevant experience, 5+ years Relevant previous experience in local government communications preferred Confidence liaising with all levels of the organisation  Demonstrated experience delivering strategic communications campaigns Strong writing and editing, including a track record of preparing high quality communications materials across all platforms About us Cardinia Shire Council is a dynamic and progressive organisation.
