The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing efficient and effective processes involved with the subdivision of land within Cardinia Shire Council.Reporting to the Coordinator Growth Area Planning & Subdivisions, some of your duties will include:Process applications for the Certification of plans and issue Statement of Compliance in accordance with appropriate legislation and planning permit conditions.Allocate street names and numbers for new subdivisions ensuring compliance with the Street Naming Act and the Geographical Names Register.Provide information and advice in response to enquiries on subdivision matters.Play an active role in the implementation of actions to improve the performance of the team in undertaking its statutory activities and liaise with planners to ensure appropriate conditions are placed on planning permits.We are flexible with the days and how these hours are worked, it can be across multiple days.About youThis role would suit someone with experience in subdivision processes. It will require solid planning and organisational skills, as well as good communication skills, both written and verbal. The successful applicant will be able to work well in a team, be able to negotiate and discuss problems, and liaise with all levels of management and staff.
