About the Opportunity
Join our Operations team in the newly created role as Team Leader for Arboriculture Development and Projects, where you will lead efforts to protect and enhance the Shire’s tree population. This newly created position offers an exciting opportunity to elevate your career while making a meaningful difference in our community’s natural environment.
You will make an impact by
- Leading the Arboriculture Development and Projects team to protect and enhance the Shire’s tree population.
- Building and maintaining relationships within the group and across all business units to ensure continuous improvement.
- Overseeing the management of the tree planting program to grow and enhance the Shire’s tree population.
- Providing and coordinating specialist and technical advice to internal and external stakeholders.
What you will bring
- Diploma Arboriculture (AQF 5) preferrable or are willing to undertake and/or are working towards
- completing the qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in arboriculture management and project coordination.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, including contractor management.
- A current Victorian Drivers Licence.
