Project co-ordination and management for the preparation of concept designs and construction of civil works,Hybrid Work model, Officer locationLeadership role, full- time, monthly ADO$97k to $117k + Super (depending on experience)About the roleGreat opportunity to take up a key leadership role within the Council's Community and Infrastructure Delivery team.  The position will lead a team, currently of five (5) staff, and will play an integral function in leading the delivery of designated capital works program, including investigation, planning and project management.  The role provides the opportunity to help lead ongoing improvements and change with culture, process and systems, to leave a lasting legacy and history of exceptional performanceReporting to the Coordinator Community Infrastructure, some of your responsibilities will include.Work with other Teams to ensure the delivery of the approved capital works program for which the position is responsible.Manage projects to meet project outcomes, time, budget and industry best practice, ensuring all processes are in line with Cardinia’s Project Management Framework (PMF), including supervision of consultants and contractors.Assist with the preparation of project initiation briefs in consultation with the other units, residents and stakeholders.About YouThe environment is collaborative and progressive and to succeed you will need to be a strong, people focused leader, who can systematically work through problems, but be dynamic and respond to rapid change.  A collaborative nature, great communication skills and a strong alignment with Council values and strategic direction a must.
