This role involves providing end-to-end leadership to the team, optimizing current processes, and coordinating workflows with other units and employees. You'll be responsible for staying up-to-date with relevant legislation changes and ensuring employees are educated accordingly. As the Team Leader, you will offer expert compliance advice to various stakeholders, represent the Council at VCAT hearings, and mentor others in handling such proceedings. Handling complex correspondence and customer complaints falls within your scope, as well as making well-informed decisions on enforcement and remedial actions. The ideal candidate must exhibit sound judgment, exceptional relationship-building skills, and excellent communication abilities for preparing accurate reports and responses.
